Beyond corporate leadership, Jónia Presado is a passionate advocate for education, health, gender equity and youth empowerment — mentoring the next generation of African leaders.
Jónia Presado mentors young professionals and university students, supports social development initiatives and actively contributes to community organizations focused on creating long-term impact. Many of the professionals she has mentored now occupy senior leadership positions or lead successful businesses across Mozambique.
In December 2023, Dr. Jónia Presado Ph.D (hc) donated 2 industrial sewing machines to the SPROWT Foundation's national "Educação Inclusiva" campaign, supporting girls' access to education in Mozambique.
The official delivery took place in January 2025 in Cabo Delgado, together with 400 school uniforms for girls from the Projecto Renascer community, an initiative of the Fundação Alberto Joaquim Chipande in Maputo.
